Next week I'm hauling my ass over the boarder to see,
"The Golden Compass."
I have no idea how many loonies it will cost me. It bears repeating, I think toonies are going to be a hot item, even in the states.
This is my tout ensemble of photos, stories and poems. ©

Is that what your movie theater really looks like across the mountain?
Ya, but I don't think it's painted pink anymore. It's for sale now, so the colour changed. The theater is in Canada, across the bourder about ten, or fifteen miles. I'm driving up there this afternoon with my friend JoAnn. She own the bead shop. I wrote a story about her and Peter. Will post it soon...lots of typing, and I don't type fast, or spell well, so it takes me hours
Oh! Just in case ya didn't know.
A loonie is a dollar coin, an a toonie is a two dollar Canadian coin with a polor bear stamped on one side. Thus the "Loonies and Toonies" of Canada.
I want a polar bear toonie...
ugh, I'm learning - somehow it posted my polar bear toonie comment twice. I was trying to call you while at lunch today - you were online posting beautiful writings and commenting! I love you dearly. My Christmas was lovely - made my daughter cry because she was happy - what more could a momma want on her daughters' last Christmas as a child. She'll be 18 in April.
I'll send you a toonie in the mail along with the letter I owe you.
Have you seen the picture yet?
Eighteen??? Where does the time go?
I gotta get in the shower and get ready ta go see that movie. I feel like a kid myself.
Glad to hear your Christmas was bright and gay.
