Concord Grape Jelly

My friends Joann and Peter gave me a batch of Concord grapes from their arbor the other day. This morning I made grape jelly, or grape sauce for pancakes, depending however it turns out. Don't have any jars, so I just put the mixture in two stainless steel bowls, one for me and one for them, and that's not counting the spoonfulls I sampled. :)
It's mmm mmm GOOD!
The only drawback is my white kitchen wash cloth is now a beautiful colour purple. I like it too.

;) I was just kidding about the wash cloth. Ya'll gotta have a sense of humor in my kitchen.

One of the best uses for a fresh concord grape sauce is this:
Take a hot melt-in-your-mouth biscuit from the oven and crumble into a champagne coupe, add one scoop of real vanilla ice cream over the hot biscuit, quickly drizzle with warm Grape sauce, and just quickly serve before the ice cream melts.
It is delish, especially after a Buffalo steak.
