Very eye-opening and interesting reads Susan, thank you for the information. I left a lengthy comment on the first link but I never use my real email anymore and didn't see it post, but perhaps, it takes time..?
I loved the article and knowledge but at times it simply frustrates me to read about a man so abreast and so intelligent but he does not suggest a better candidate for the job...perhaps Obama would actually listen, if an online poll taken for a new candidate other than Geither (sp?) would be suggested with credentials. I love exposure...the lack of enforcing laws and rules that have already tested positive is mind blowing that they are not being used now....more so, that the government continues to get away with it. As far as a solution a commenter suggested...MJA
A 3% interest rate to all homeowners, I would include good and bad credit ...I mean afterall, most folks credit suffered due to these economic bad times...higher gas/food prices that only put more money in the top 1% anyway.
Screw the 1% tax coming back on the wealthiest, make it 5%!
that's how I feel...tehy profited off the poor and must take responsibility for the share. Sorry, if that's socialism...oh well
That trillion dollar deficit can be paid back pretty quick if we started charging the the 1% back, based on income, the richer, the higher the percentage...for a time being...only until things stabilize, Then keep it back at 1%.
All seems a bit too simple for me...as far as a solution but then again, I loved Robinhood...my kinda guy!
The difference is, we wouldn't be ,"Robbing" just getting back a piece of what was stolen from us.
