Counting My Blessings

Laughter in the worst of times can get you through a whole lot of pain.
This is my dear twelve-year-old neighbor who gave me hope that kindness, and love, and truth, is a strength.

It rained all day, but the sun did come out a couple of hours ago.
Jazzy is a firecracker, smart like you wouldn't believe, and very kind hearted. She was my ray of sunshine, an Angel.

She brought me four baby bluebirds in a rainbow coloured Rartafarian hat. Who couldn't laugh?
When her dad grounded her, she wanted me to crawl on my belly to her basement window, and of course, bring the birds. I said,"Are you Nuts? I'm fifty-six-years old for god sake, I can't do that." She gave me one of those smiles and said, "You don't act it." She had ran over to tell me all this stuff when her dad went to the store. I love her dearly, and smart...OMG!
