Wow! I can't believe you have indian rocks!!! Thats what I call them, I don't know the proper name but when I was a kid my gRandmother gave me a handful of exactally what some of those jewels are and I cherished them!!! i put them in my dad's fish tank and always spotted them amongst the gravel. Through the years my dad, would lose many, when he cleaned the gravel and some would just dissapear or get caught up in the filter..i guess...anyway, I think there was only two left and I wonder if he still has them? I use to cherish those rocks... so, so much, what a flash back this post gave me! I love this jewelry!

Isn't it funny how a person can be so down and out at times and then they see something online or on another's blog and it just makes thier day! I love when that happens.

So thank you for sharing this with everyone...you never know how one post can truly affect others!

saving up for my camera, so we can get crckin and sellin!

have a good night! You made my night!

memories of my grandma, will rock my sorry ass to sleep

so thank you...even though you didn't know this

love them!

love

Which rocks are you calling, "Indian Rocks"? The Turquoise? Hon, you need to discribe the stones.
Faceted Rock Crystal-clear beads
Carnelien-dark honey
Hematite-black beads
Turquoise- blue
Lipidalite- purple
My supplier is a family secret, I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you, and I don't cotton to killing my friends. If my family decides to go public, I'll let you know.
As for prices, my stuff isn't cheap because I usually only make one of a kind items.
I hope I've answered your questions. Pank, I'm happy to hear you like my jewelry.

Well, I just took a quick online course in Natural gemstones, so I will be more careful than to call them, "Indian rocks" in the future... oops tehe

sorry if I insulted you
Ignorance is not meant to insult

anyway dear, The gems that i was referring to are the carnelian...or more specific, the second and fourth bracelet from the left.

The gems I am drawn to where found online and called rainbow casilica gemstones.

brought back fond memories to me..

I also found a woman who makes the most gorgeous jewelry too, on line.
I will send you her link, if ya want..in case you would like to see some competition or gain some ideas.

I see how expensive this jewelry can be and rightfully so!

I also saw how inexpensive some people where selling it for, so it was quite confusing

guess the quality of the gem and in how it can be processed, plays a role too...along with synthetic vs. natural.

pretty, pretty stuff!

I agree with pk, Susan, they are really awesome. I love the gold tone face beads. Are those glass or stone?

Isn't it great how everybody has their own style? There should never be any competition between artists. I know I sure appriciate other artist's work.

Rave reviews. Maybe we could make a trade sometime, eh?

Pank, insult me? I'm just doing the best I know how and learning along the way. :)
Ya did look up natural gem stones, and I had never heard of rainbow casilica. You're the smart cookie. Do you really want me to quoit a price over the net? I'll send you the one I think you like, wear it, give it away, or sell it if you want. Just don't sell me bling cheap. ;)
Please send me that link.

Willo, the gold tone face beads are pewter. And sure, what do you want to trade? Got any funny books? Just kidding.
Felicita Romaro started out trading comic books and paperbacks.
That reminds me,have you ever seen the movie Latcho Dorm? The music is wonderful.

Hi Donna...willo!

I agree, thank you for pointing out that an artist never needs to compete...

I digress

I really loved your jewelry too and I think you both have beautiful styles.

I'll send ya that email Susan, but I have to look it up again haha...

I'm a bit too lazy right now.

I don't know how to save sites to favorites anymore...ugh

new stuff on this net for me..
if I saved her link on favs, it would be so easy!

Susan, hold onto your creations, I am still working on a way for us all to sell

enjoy your weekend hon
